It's a beautiful place and the food is delicious, the server very friendly. I definitely recommend Emilio's Tapas.
My daughter & her husband took my mom & I for dinner, this is where they chose, I am so so happy they did! Inside it's clean, warm, inviting, plenty of room for all. The young lady who took care of us was so nice, explaining everything and making suggestions. We ordered three small plate items at a time so we each were able to taste different things. We ended up trying a variety of different things (my favorite was the garlic shrimp, calamari & the garlic potato salad)- from start to finish it was a delicious adventure! And the desserts we chose - flan and bananas foster.....ohmystars!!! The staff was very thorough and attentive, we truly appreciated that!! We will go back again to try another round of different things!! Try it, it was a very fun, delicious dinner, you won't leave hungry!!!
Loved the decor and ambiance. Live music on Friday night, awesome! Great service! Patio seating was great! The food and drinks were fantastic! Although it can get pricey but we had a great time overall. Recommended!
This place is beyond beautiful. And the food is very fresh. It’s a social atmosphere and a very comforting environment. The food is fantastic, perfect for sharing with a group of friends. It’s a very authentic experience. Definitely would recommend.
This was a great place for dinner especially if you have a group. We were a group of 6 so we ordered a ton of tapas to try out. Cost per person wasn’t bad since we divided everything by 6. Service was very good. They took care of us and food came out fast. There were way too many tapas to go through so I’ll just summarize it. Each tapa dish hit the mark, didn’t remember any that failed. I would definitely come back for dinner. Parking was sufficient, you can easily find a spot.

The Paella was incredible. As good as the one we served at our wedding in Puerto Rico. Great atmosphere. Great for family and gatherings.
We were celebrating a couple of birthdays and had a great time. There was a party of 20-25 people whose food came right after we sat which I think was good. The service was good, the food and drinks were delicious and interesting. The only thing I had to complain about was that although they knew it was 2 of our birthdays, they didn't bring out a dessert or sing us a song. I don't think I would have noticed except that there were 4 other birthdays that people got singing AND cake. We did get a sign and balloon when we came in at our table, so that was nice.
Emilio's is a trip to the best of Spain. While the exterior is unassuming, on entering you are transported to a rare and wonderful dining experience. The atmosphere is warm and inviting with carefully curated decor that celebrates Spanish culture. The staff are players on this sumptuous stage serving up friendly and efficient hospitality with each dish. The menu ranges with a wide variety of mouth watering offerings. You will not find better tapas anywhere else. So make reservations if you plan to come because Emilio's is very popular.
I've been searching for a good Spanish tapas restaurant outside the downtown Chicago area and thank God we came across Emilio's! We hope to become regulars. The Friday night live music, paired with the rustic Spanish decor, tapas and sangria had us thinking why hadn't we come across this restaurant sooner. The restaurant also had a kid friendly menú which is always a nice plus for us, who enjoy good food and a happy toddler. The sangria flight was a perfect pairing for all the tapas that we ordered. I believe my favorite tapas quickly because the chicken croquettes and the scallops. I can't wait to try some other tapas the next time we go. PS the band played a variety of music, including Los Fabulosos Cadillac songs (my husband's favorite) and Radiohead. It was the best of both worlds. We were very pleased with them.
